Raised on a mountain farm, I had a childhood defined by the rhythm of the seasons, the pull to explore the woods, and plenty of time to cultivate my imagination. The primal bond with the natural world and endless curiosity became the foundation for a career spanning into environmental science, aquatic mysteries, human arts, speculative fiction, and more. My various life experiences have led me here, where I can share those insights. And I cannot forget to include my beautiful wife in my life's adventure. Her love and steady belief in me have helped carry every part of this work into being.
